The Transparency Act

Compass Group is subject to the Transparency Act, which entered into force on 1 July 2022. We work continuously to comply with human rights and to ensure that working conditions for all employees, both in Compass Group and throughout our supply chain comply with human-rights, dignity and to ensure their well-being. We navigate by the principles of honesty and integrity, and we expect and demand the same standard from our suppliers.

At Compass Group, we have a well-established human rights policy and a Code of Conduct that describes our work regarding human rights and decent working conditions. Our Code of Conduct commits both us and our suppliers to comply with human rights and a sustainable business model. Our Code of Conduct is an integral part of all our agreements. As part of compliance with the Transparency Act, we work continuously to identify and uncover risk of breaches of the law both internally and in the supply chain and to ensure implementation in all the company's business areas and management systems.

In summary, efforts to carry out risk analyses of our suppliers have begun with the aim of identifying potential risks of human rights violations and compliance with decent working conditions. During the year, we will carry out checks with priority suppliers to ensure compliance with the requirements.
